In Canada, September 30th is known as Orange Shirt Day. On this day, we honour First Nations, Inuit and Metis people and reflect on the ongoing effects of residential schools. Since we will be home on September 30th, we are wearing our orange shirts tomorrow September 29th to honour the victims and survivors of residential schools today.
